Experience Our Exhibit

Traveling Exhibit

Throughout 2024, we will be touring a special exhibit throughout North and South Carolina to share the life and vision of our founder, James B. Duke, and the century of progress he made possible.

Through interactive content panels and digital experiences, visitors will learn how the Carolinas have been shaped by Mr. Duke and how his generosity continues to support the region today through the Endowment. The dual-sided exhibit focuses on the Endowment’s past and present, sharing the Duke family’s legacy of community building and philanthropy, the creation of The Duke Endowment, and grantee stories and impact from the past 100 years.
